The St. Mark’s UMC Food Pantry was part of an initiative started in 1982 to address the emergency hunger needs of the local community. At one point under the umbrella of the Interfaith Coalition of Food Centers of Delaware County (ICFC), the food pantry along with other centers in the county served hundreds of thousands of meals each year to tens of thousands of clients. Though we now operate as an independent entity, the St. Mark's Food Pantry continues to be committed to eradicating hunger among its fellow township residents.

We serve the Marple Township community the second Saturday of each month from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.  We have been operating in a drive-thru format since 2022, where you remain in your vehicle as we bring out the bags to you. To register, please leave a message at 610-356-1044.

To donate, please carefully read the instructions below. Non-perishable donations can be dropped off at the last door in the back parking lot 24/7.  Checks can be made out to the St. Mark’s UMC Food Pantry.
